1）美国汤姆森-路透本月收录中国期刊消息
Thomson Reuters Master Journal
List, JOURNAL COVERAGE CHANGES(for the past 12 months)汤姆森-路透刊源表，中国期刊收录变化（在过去12个月）。我部从汤姆森-路透网站整理出目前被列入来源期刊中的中国期刊名单。他们分别列入汤姆森-路透各个数据库，如英国《动物学记录》、美国《生物学文摘》、美国《科学引文索引》、英国《科学文摘》，等等。其中有14种是由我部推荐的。详见www.cujs.com网站。
9月18日，美国汤姆森-路透科技信息集团助理编辑James
Smolens给我部发来电子邮件，由我部推荐的国际会议论文集“Proceedings
of the 4TH International Conference on Intelligent Logistics Systems”，已经通过了评估；并被美国汤姆森-路透科技信息集团主办的美国《科学技术会议录索引》（ISTP，Index Science and Technology Proceedings，合计66篇）正式收录。
从2002年开始至今，中国高等学校自然科学学报研究会对外联络委员会，中国科学技术期刊编辑学会国际交流工作委员会向汤姆森-路透科技信息集团美国科学信息研究所（ISI）主办的《科学技术会议录索引》（ISTP）和美国工程信息公司主办的《工程索引》（Ei
Compendex）等推荐中国出版的会议论文集总计32本。已经被收录23本（总计收录3533篇）；6本未予收录，1本至今未寄出，1本正在评估中。
2）美国化学文摘社决定收录3种中国期刊
9月我部多次收到美国化学文摘社（CAS）Andrea Fox安德烈亚 福克斯夫人发来的电子邮件，经过评估，决定收录：Fault-Block Oil & Gas Field /ISSN 1005-8907/Duan-Kuai You-Qitian/断块油气田；Jianyan Yixue Yu Linchuang
/ISSN 1672-9455/检验医学与临床；Liaodong Xueyuan
Xuebao (Ziran Kexue Ban) /ISSN 1673-4939/辽东学院学报（自然科学版）。美国化学文摘社（CAS）现行收录中国期刊总计1208种（不完全统计），数据截止日期：2008-09-30。
3）英国INSPEC数据库新收录2种中国期刊
经过我部9月14日查询，以下期刊已经被INSPEC数据库收录Journal of Naval Universit of
